Under the Radar! – Michigan – Lansing / Marine City

Lansing / Marine City.
On this episode of Under The Radar Michigan, we’re back in Lansing to find out why our own state capital is still one of the coolest places to visit in all of Michigan. We’ll also stop at a fork in the road for some food dudes who are making what we like to call “real meals”, and hit a home run with Lansing’s own Lugnuts. Then, we head east to beautiful Marine City for a little bar, and a big bed & breakfast. We’ll also satisfy your sweet tooth, show you why fish is for dinner, and prove once and for all that sea snoopers don’t bite. It’s all right here in Michigan … and right here on UTR. Episode 301.

  • Now here is the thing they don't tell you about Marine City, with small towns you get small minded people. The town is pretty and some of the restaurants are really good, it's more of a town for older people; I grew up in this town and the cops harassed the teenagers, and there is nothing for the kids to do. City Council did everything in their power to keep this town from growing and anything that had opened for kids/teens to do got shut down with in months of opening.

It's a great town for Antiquing, watching freighters and our beach isn't half bad. All in all if you just want to sit around and vegetate.
